Founded in 2020 by Camille Esquivel, a second generation Filipinx-Canadian and first generation architect-planner, SQVL is a NY-based think tank with a mission of making architecture, research, and the planning process accessible to communities who need them the most through technical and engagement services.

When I was younger, my father gave me the film camera he once used as a professional photographer in the Philippines—and I've been exploring all things creative ever since.
Energized by passionate conversations, the amalgam of disciplines, and the notion of having too many interesting books to read in one's lifetime, I bring an endless curiousity in everything I do. Mixing an Environmental Design education with my marketing and visual communications experience, I seek thoughtful solutions to problems at any scale.
Hailing from East Vancouver in the Pacific Northwest, I am currently pursuing a dual degree in Architecture and Urban Planning at Columbia University in the City of New York.
