My name is Camille Esquivel and I'm a designer and photographer from Vancouver, BC, Canada. At a young age, my father gave me the film camera he once used as a professional photographer in the Philippines—and since then, I've been exploring all things creative ever since.

Energized by passionate conversations, the amalgam of disciplines, and the notion of having too many interesting books to read n one's lifetime, I bring an endless curiousity to everything I do. Mixing an Environmental Design education with my professional marketing and visual communications experience, I seek thoughtful solutions to problems at any scale.

Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Science in Urban Planning and Master of Architecture dual degree at Columbia University in the City of New York. My research interests currently fall under waterfront planning, resilient design, regenerative energy, gender equality, and designing for vulnerable communities and transitional spaces.

All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you.
